Save On Interest! Many companies offer no interest plans when purchasing appliances or electronics. What happens if the account is not paid off when they specify? Interest starts from the day of purchase, so you pay more.

With payroll deduction, discounted loan rate and up to two years to pay; KSAGCU makes it affordable to update.


*Home Equity Loans  
The equity in your home can provide efficient and affective financing options to pay off other debt, make major purchases or have available for those "just in case" instances.

How is equity determined? Multiply the appraised value of your home by 90% or 80%, then subtract your mortgage balance. The amount left over is your available equity.

Your Home Equity Line of Credit is available for 10 years, with a 5 year draw period and minimum monthly payment is a percentage of the amount you owe. Wall Street Journal Prime (WSJP) is used for the interest rate base. 1% is added to WSJP for a 90% LTV, and 0% added for a 80% LTV. The interest rate can change quarterly and the minimum interest rate charged is 4%. The only cost to you is a one-time fee of $100, with a minimum payment of $100 or a 15 year payment, whichever is higher.

Once approved, we'll make out a check when you want it. Is the interest tax deductible? Many times it is, but consult with your tax advisor for sure.

Credit Union Mortgage Services is our partner for first mortgages. Andy Homewood is a wealth of information and will patiently help and guide you through the process. Getting a mortgage is not difficult when knowledge and experience are there at every step.

If you have been a KSAGCU member for:

<5 years -- $3,000 maximum with a 24 month term
>5 years -- $5,000 maximum with a 36 month term

Worry Free Payment Option - Direct deposit gives you the confidence that payments are received on time, and it's so easy to set up with our Routing #301179753 and your account number. If you're a Traditional member of the Kansas Air National Guard with direct deposit to KSAGCU, a special provision is made for that one month there is no drill.

Why Borrow Against Savings? We recognize that saving money is more difficult for some. Why take out a loan when the money you need is in your account?

Reason 1: You make the withdrawal but won't make payments back to yourself to restore your savings balance.

Answer 1: You will make payments to the Credit Union and retain your savings.

Reason 2: An early withdrawal on a certificate can cause a loss of principal.

Answer 2: Let the certificate mature with full earnings, then pay off the loan.
